SUPERCOURSE SIGHTINGS

Our Supercourse has been making the rounds lately.  With it’s ACE Dircect Connect carbon frame and a price point that some people spend in gas a month…it’s easy to see why.

An “up-grade worthy frame” has been seen in the pages of Road Magazine as reported earlier on this Blog.  The Supercourse frame is exactly the same as the Prestige Neil rode on the MS ride.  So upgrading his stock Supercourse, with a parts kit that would make the peleton in the Giro Pink (?) with envy,  made perfect sense.

In the May issue of the Bicycling the editors were quick to note the Supercourse’s heritage and value.  The stable ride and ability to accelerate delivered a “Supercourse (that) felt incredibly fast for a bike of this price”.  Also noted was the “up-grade worthy frame” in the key notes.  Hmmmm, is there a pattern developing with this ride?

This spring the Supercourse has been seen ‘turning the screws’ under the legs of some Recycled Cycles racers in the Seattle area.    If you look closely this one received a SRAM Force and FSA upgrade.

This really shows why the Supercourse is a crazy good deal. The frame is about 980g for the 57 – and uses Direct Connect Technology.

Someone can buy this bike to get into the sport and have a frame they can grow with and spec as they’d like over the long haul.
