From the Factory
Recently our Raleigh Product Manager was over seas at one of our production facilities. Breaking from work he happenend to look out the window and saw a big group of riders returning from a ride. He inquired as to what was going on. Turns out our factory has a weekly team ride. Every Sunday they ride 60K from their office out to Kinesis and back. What Happens at $5?
This one has been sitting in my Inbox for a little while. And I think it nicely sums up what is going on today. I’ve noticed more and more people riding their bikes for everything. Don’t Go
With the recent Anniversary of Andy Hampsten’s ride up the Gavia in the 1987 Giro, a small band of brave riders set out on a ride of their own. The weather was reminiscent of the stories I’ve read. With a cold rain falling sideways it took a great motivational speech by Andy himself to get us on our bikes. The real tragedy of major catastrophes is once the news channels find something else to talk about, the old headlines get brushed aside. They Myanmar Cyclone was absolutely devastating and left an estimated 2 million people displaced. Coasting Along…
Shimano is heading out on Tour and they want everyone to Coast along. They’ve decked out a VW Touareg, grabbed a fleet of bicycles, and are coming to a city near you.
