The Revolution Will Not Be Televised

Toes sting, squinted and blurred vision searches out traces of trail while numb finger tips clumsily reach for brakes.  Cold, wet, dark days do not inspire many people to venture out on their bicycles to get to work.  And the bicycle trails in the Pacific Northwest get awful lonely in the winter.  One nite while attempting to warm our spirits over a local pint the discussion turned to that of the bicycle commuter.  It was noted what a great idea the [...] read more

    Shootin in the Rain

Had to set up a photoshoot for our new waterproof bike bags and panniers. Obviously, to show that they’re waterproof we wanted to shoot in the rain. After waiting for a week and a half, the weather reports finally looked favorable this week. Turning Pro

Guitar Ted over at 29inches.com has been getting the jump on me lately.  When he started to leak information about our 2009 XXIX bikes and the new Mojave 29 my boss started to look at me like I wasn’t doing my job around here.     Well, now it’s my turn to get the jump on him.  While he’s put the rumor out there that we are making a Pro version of our XXIX…I’m here to say it’s a reality.  Here are the [...] read more

    Raleigh Steel Sighting

This is pretty exciting.  In an age of carbon this and carbon that, we’ve gone back to our roots and constructed a stellar line of steel bicycles.  When we released the Rush Hour a few short years ago, we had no idea that it would be as well received as it has been.  Since then we’ve added the Sojourn and One-Way, which have even attracted the attention of Pro Tour rider Ivan Basso.  Which is why it’s so exciting that for 2009 we’ll [...] read more

    2009 Photo Shoot

…is in the proverbial bag. Nine days of shooting.  Thousands of clicks from the cameras. Over 650 miles driven to get all the shots. Two completely new lines of bikes. Two sweet care packages from Twin Six and Rapha to get dressed up in. One crazy pylon killing driver. One A-Frame cabin complete with wood burning hot tub. One replaceable Derailleur Hanger ripped off by a wayward branch. One Dead Baby Bicycle Race. One Tour de Fat. And a bunch of mud equals a pretty good photo shoot.  [...] read more
