REMEMBER YOUR FIRST BIKE?

Pass that feeling along.

Pete Buck and Mark Smith of Buck’s Bikes in Austin, Texas have developed a charity program that involves bicycles.  They had a great start earlier this year when they were able to provide 50 bikes to the children of members of the local Texas National Guard for a 4th of July give away.  You can see a news report about that day in this video.

The program was such a success that we now have 5 Raleigh dealers in 5 cities from around the state participating in the program.  In total 600 bikes, helmets, and safety lessons will be given to the children of the Texas National Guard from around the State.

If you would like to support or learn more about the program please click this link www.BikesFGS.org  The organization needs your support to provide these bikes as well as to continue their good work.  Please check out the website and pass along if possible.  Feel free to tell the story about your first bike in the blog section.   You may also buy cool “ Bike Is Good” clothing at this website http://www.bikeisgood.com/ .  Your purchases will help support the work of the BFGS Foundation.  Our list of participating dealers is:

·         There are other dealers outside of our network providing the balance of the bikes.
