IS IT ROAD SEASON ALREADY?
A couple quick pictures and some words from a couple of our Grassroots riders out there…
I’m loving the bike…very comfortable and just stiff enough. I rode 4hrs on Sunday and on some pretty rough roads, it felt smooth and really responsive. Yesterday I raced in Long Beach, CA I took an 11th in the 30 plus 1,2 race in the field sprint.. .8 mile four corners flat and fast. Not really my kind of race but lots of fun hacking it out with the sprinters. I attached some pics, it’s pretty hard to miss the Raleigh in the field. Some added pressure to perform I suppose. I got to race with some notables including Tony Cruz, Tyler Hamilton, bunch of other big names and big dudes. In the CBR crit pic, look for a huge guy with USA skin suit, he was on a black Raleigh. I’m not sure who he is, but I know he’s a track guy?Â
Thanks again, I’ll keep you posted on the Raleigh’s adventures.

And from the deserts of Utah…
Reason #138 why I like my bike……
Because I just did that on it……….
I was going to try and do somethin crafty with my hands make a funny face or something, but this was at the end of the ride and everything. And I couldn’t feel anything all that well………..
Plus, our Recycled Cycles Racing Team has been logging the training miles already. Recently, during a particularly frozen weekend in Bellingham WA.
Pictures and stories of their weekend can be found here.
