WHEEL TO WHEEL
This Sunday is the Brad Lewis Memorial Crit in the U-District of Seattle. A race that was renamed just a couple years ago after a sudden heart attack claimed the young life of Recycled Cycles Racer, and former Raleigh employee, Brad Lewis. If you find yourself in the area, stop by and see some crazy wheel to wheel, elbow to elbow racing action.

Hey Brian,
I was really impressed with the Raleigh Raineir cross bike you guys were riding down here in PDX at the ’08 Cross Crusade. I see some of the Yakima guys on them too. Are you or will you be building more of these frame sets? I’m thinking I may need to get me one of these sweet rides.

Thanks. Got a lot a pride in that frame. And it would be fun to make more…however, I’m going to let the Rainier be picked up like an empty pitcher at closing time. Next season is a whole new season…and while the Rainier won’t be around, I’m working on something new. Stay tuned…
