Today, at 66 years of age, I started riding a bike again. I went to Bash Bish Bike Shop in a nearby town and bought myself and my husband a Raleigh Detour. I need exercise but can’t walk a lot because of bad knees but I can ride. Of course I am learning all over again as my childhood bike did not have gears nor hand brakes.
We are looking forward to lots of fun times on our new bikes and lots of beautiful sights exploring the Harlem Valley Bike Trail.
Thank you.

Penny,
I hope you find the same thrill and excitment that you may have discovered the very first time you rode a bike.
Enjoy.

I ride to work all the time. I have the Detour 3.5 and love it.
