An every year event, the managers show up at the 36-year-old bike shop for a surprise retreat, focused on a different facet of cycling to better understand their customers. This year, they showed up to prepped Raleigh Tamlands, all ready for a gravel ride.

Team Raleigh-Clement’s Season Launch And Attack On The Gran Prix Of Gloucester

The cyclocross season is in full swing and North America’s professional cyclocross circuit kicked-off in Seattle two weeks ago with the return of Star Crossed. Founded in 2002, it’s the nation’s first twilight cyclocross race. Belgian Ben Berden, the oldest and most decorated member of the squad, got the season underway with a third place finish, despite a trip over the handlebars thanks to aggressive racing by his rivals.

This past DealerCamp set the stage for the unveiling of Raleigh’s 2014 line. DealerCamp, a bike industry event that takes place at Deer Valley Resort, is an exciting time. Dealers, consumers and media all come to get a glimpse into what 2014 will bring to the cycling world. There are extravagant displays, epic amounts of schwag and catalogues galore, but they only magnify the excitement that these shiny new toys bring. Ears perked up and eyes widened as Raleigh wheeled its shiny new 2014 line on stage. In addition to new colors and updates to its sleek line of road, mountain, cyclocross and hybrid bikes, its two new categories, gravel and 27.5 mountain bikes, are what stood out the most.

When her friend beat her during on a cyclocross bicycle, Caroline immediately went out and got herself one. Now she is a professional cyclocross racer for Raleigh-Clement and is stoked to start the season in September. As a premier woman athlete in the sport, she took some time to answer some questions about getting chicks into biking.

Cyclocross veteran Jamey Driscoll has signed with the Raleigh-Clement Cyclocross Team for 2013. He will join Ben Berden, Allen Krughoff, Craig Etheridge, and Caroline Mani by wearing the Raleigh-Clement colors. Jamey spent the past five years riding for Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld but before that he was U.S. Junior National Champion in 2003 and has been a member of seven U.S. World Championship Teams.

SUCCESS IN KNOXVILLE FOR RALEIGH’S 706 PROJECT RACERS

The second to last stop on the Southeastern Regional Series (SRS) calendar took Raleigh’s 706 Project team to Knoxville, Tennessee for the Knoxville SRS this weekend. The race was a 75-minute crit on a four-turn hilly course and a 91-mile road race on rolling, twisty roads. The 706 Project team was striving to strengthen David Winston’s overall lead and Andy Scarano’s lead in the King of the Mountain competition.
