Some Secrets…
Are better off not being secrets at all. Which is why we shared some pictures of a Reynolds 853 XXIX we made for our “Factory Riders” who are out and about. Currently, these are marketing frames only and are only available to our band of merry pranksters. The frame is exactly the same as our current XXIX, just made up with Reynolds 853. And as always, Guitar Ted over at 29inches.com is quick on the uptake and getting the info out there. You can find [...] read more

Misceo is not Latin for Shovel
I’m sure most of the country is more concerned with snow removal and haven’t put a single thought towards the kind of spring like weather we’re enjoying in Seattle…the slightly bike obsessed folks over at Century Cycles took some time from digging out, and checked out our new Misceo. Here’s what they had to say about it…. read more

HiLife
{What’ll your HiLife look like?} What do you do when you get done with your first round? That first one was a lot of fun and it feels like one more would keep the good times rolling. So it becomes time for one more… SSCX may be a niche segment in the Cyclocross world, but it’s one we throughly enjoy. Last year we quietly rolled out the Rainier SSCX framesets. It quickly became an undergound and muddy success. So this year we decided that we [...] read more

Shootin in the Rain
Had to set up a photoshoot for our new waterproof bike bags and panniers. Obviously, to show that they’re waterproof we wanted to shoot in the rain. After waiting for a week and a half, the weather reports finally looked favorable this week. Wednesday seemed to have the best outlook, with 80% chance of precipitation.  Our Raleigh marketing guy, BF, and I drove up to Seattle to meet our photographer and the “talent” (one of BFs biking buddies) at Bauhaus Coffee [...] read more

Turning Pro
Guitar Ted over at 29inches.com has been getting the jump on me lately. When he started to leak information about our 2009 XXIX bikes and the new Mojave 29 my boss started to look at me like I wasn’t doing my job around here.    Well, now it’s my turn to get the jump on him. While he’s put the rumor out there that we are making a Pro version of our XXIX…I’m here to say it’s a reality. Here are the [...] read more

2009 Photo Shoot
…is in the proverbial bag. Nine days of shooting. Thousands of clicks from the cameras. Over 650 miles driven to get all the shots. Two completely new lines of bikes. Two sweet care packages from Twin Six and Rapha to get dressed up in. One crazy pylon killing driver. One A-Frame cabin complete with wood burning hot tub. One replaceable Derailleur Hanger ripped off by a wayward branch. One Dead Baby Bicycle Race. One Tour de Fat. And a bunch of mud equals a pretty good photo shoot. [...] read more
