2010 Team Bike Reviewed – ROAD Magazine
The speed junkies at ROAD managed to get the first review out of our new High Modulous Carbon Road frame and fork.  In an effort to see if magazine editors are asleep at the handlebars, I sent Tim (editor) some information regarding the New processes we were using to create our frames. This included utilizing free range Sasquatch hair interwoven into the carbon for strength and Unicorn tears as the epoxy. The threatened to print it. He didn’t. You can read what he did write by clicking on [...] read more

Come Back…
Factory Rider Andy has been out of commission lately. And used the Tour De Nez as a guage to see where he was at. While it was a comeback for him…it was an even bigger comeback for another name in the pack. ::::: I raced the first stage of the Omnium at the Tour De Nez. First race is in Truckee, CA just outside of Reno. A great technical course downtown Truckee. Great crowds of cycling fans. You can tell cause they’re [...] read more

RR race 3.5 mile loop, 60 miles, flat with one rolling hill and extra unsafe. The race was well represented by several pro teams [...] read more

It’s Not Always About Us…
Recently, a mechanic at Century Cycles lost most of his possesions in a house fire. And while it can take some time to replace a fuzzy toilet seat cover, refrigerator magnets, and a Britney Spears CD collection (hey, it’s on their site)…trying to replace a stable of bikes can be painful and take years. Sean Burkey (the local Sales Rep) recently stopped by their Annual Staff retreat and presented the wrench turner with a new bike from our Sister brand Diamond Back. (caution…contains [...] read more

Don’t Go
With the recent Anniversary of Andy Hampsten’s ride up the Gavia in the 1987 Giro, a small band of brave riders set out on a ride of their own. The weather was reminiscent of the stories I’ve read. With a cold rain falling sideways it took a great motivational speech by Andy himself to get us on our bikes. I could still hear his parting words in my ear as we rode off into the cold rain…”Don’t go.” The complete write [...] read more
