Killer deal on sale

Review by QUENTIN
Overall Quality

I basically bought this as a bad weather bike. It looks great (just wish the top tube was horizontal) and the Tiagra shifters work surprisingly well. The bike has a very smooth and comfortable ride. While lighter than most mountain bikes, it's heavy for a road bike, and acceleration is slow. The only other negative is the brakes. They take a while to adjust and stopping power is just ok. Good for relaxed group rides, but for faster group rides I grab one of my other bikes.

Mixed Feelings

Review by Mark
Overall Quality

While I love the style and ride of this bike, mine has had some quirks. Brakes were very slow to stop initially but have gotten better after some use. However, now both are rubbing and need readjustment. Rear fender rattles. Embarrassingly so. I've re tightened all mount points are narrowed he noise down to the center, loosely fitting, fender bracket. Most recently, I'm suddenly unable to shift into the highest gear up front. Have adjusted what I can and the front shifter just will not reach without bumping into the fender. I suspect maybe the shifter itself moved lower on the frame somehow. Tighten and double-check everything on this bike when you get it!

A nice bicycle

I ordered this for the road. It's lighter than my MTB and rides nice on smooth surfaces.
I have a 15 year old MTB bike that was 3x the price, but has far better components on it. I was a little surprised by the amount of plastic in the components on this bicycle, but they work. My only real complaint is the Tektro disc brakes. The brakes are terrible. I have Avids on my other bikes that are much easier to adjust. There's 5 other bicycles ( I built ) in my garage that have easier to adjust brakes. After many attempts I believe the Tektro brakes are somewhat working, but they're really not good. I'll likely replace them.

This is a really beautiful and stunning bike. It shines out on the road and I get so many compliments. The ride is great. It would be nice if had a triple crank. But the compact double will work on most hills. The fit of this bike is something I have been looking for along time. It's a relaxed feel and comfortable. I suggest this bike to any one. Again it is beautiful.
