Cool bike
Review by Coffee drinker -
Overall Quality
I bought last years version in blue and it is sweet. It looks great rides great and best of all....it’s a steel frame bike! I don’t ride aluminum or carbon because they ride rough and aren’t built to last. Steel is the real deal and not too many companies sell them unfortunately. I’m hoping Raleigh makes a steel frame mountain bike soon. Hint hint.

Review by FrancisjamesOverall QualityLove this bike! A lot of quality here for the bucks...but should not be surprised...this is the trademark of Raleigh. Love the response of the 4130 frame and the shifting of gears is quick, smooth and silent. The bike easily eats up the road and smooths out bumps or edgy roads. The bike tracks true around corners and brakes smoothly. The welds at the joints are beautiful and rivalries bikes much, much more expensive. But there again, that is Raleigh history. The color is a beautiful dark burgundy or almost plum with a hint of gold sparkles trimmed in black and a gray. Not sure why it is referred to as red. Whatever, so glad I bought this bike. One will not be disappointed. Made ago Raleigh.

Review by Steel Bike WarriorOverall QualityI bought this bike for endurance training, tri-training, touring, commuting, and for the steel. I am loving the hell out of it. The bike is pretty smooth and hearty. I can climb pretty well on it too. I do think I will swap out the Strada tires for a more reinforced puncture resitance tire soon., like a Gatorskin or Vittoria. The L.A. streets can get pretty clunky, and I got my first flat after two weeks. I am going ride some local Olympic Tri's on this bike for a year, or so. I hope to upgrade to a fancier Raleigh after I deserve it. I hope Raleigh continues the Heritage line. Bring the Steel!!

Review by FranciscoOverall Quality40 Miles in and I really like this bike, It's fun to ride. It's a great bang for your buck bike. When comparing to Surly/Salsa/etc in terms of steel bike this is the way to go for STI shifting, decent components, and steel frame with plenty of braze ons for commuting/touring.
