Great bike for the price. This bike is intended for female rider, but I am a short (5'3") male rider. I switched out the stock tires and used Continental Gatorskin 28mm. I used this bike as a (credit card) touring bike. I rode from Ho Chi Minh city Vietnam to Siem Riep, Cambodia about 450 miles in four days. The road condition between the border of Vietnam and Phnomphen is not smooth, but the bike is so smooth and comfortable. Highly recomended.

Great first road bike

This is my first road bike and I decided on the Revere 3 due to the low cost and the higher end components. I frequently ride on mountain roads so having 11 gears and with 11-32t is really great for the steeper grades. For the price tag you would be very hard pressed to find a better bike. I am 5'8'' and went with the recommended size, but I do think I could have gone a size up as the frame seems a bit on the smaller size.

Great bike

This is my first road bike and I'm very happy with my decision. After doing a ton of research (and saving), the Revere 3 was easily the best investment based on a few factors. I wanted something with higher end components, able to support me as I'm a heavier rider, and not break the bank. This bike hit all the points. The wide double wall tires let me ride with confidence because I don't feel like I'm going to break my bike. The components and features are great, comparable to some higher-end road bikes out there, but with a much better price tag. I expect to be riding this for a while. I mostly go for short local rides, but I recently rode 40 miles in the NYC 5 Boro Bike Tour comfortably, even with all those bridges.
If I had to change anything, I'd change the width of the handlebars. They're a little more narrow than I'd prefer, but I'm fine with it for now. That's an investment for another time. Overall I'm happy with the bike and would recommend it.
